This is quite an auspicious occasion.
For a person who longingly looked at latex and found I couldn’t use it (god knows what the hell I tried before) to a person who slipped on a catsuit and corset made of latex this morning and wore it most of the day….my whole world has just opened up!!!!
I want to thank Peter Pick of Fantastic Rubber for the amazing opportunity to test latex first, and then to be made this wonderful outfit in such a fast time.
I was hesitant only that I would tear the suit up as I was putting it on. Lube works wonders. I got some Pjur brand shiner and the same brand body guide, and glide on it did. I spent the early part of the morning with the arm all twisted up, but got that sorted out.
I have questions.
- Do I season a rubber corset the same way I would season a fabric/leather corset?
- How many hours a day can I wear the catsuit?
- So, I’ve lubed up the inside of the catsuit for storage. Is that going to cut it?
- Can I wear other clothing with it, say jeans etc – I don’t want to break it down.
- Remember, I’m not talking about only camera shoots. I want to wear this baby as part of my every day clothing and don’t want to do something to stuff it up.
As you can tell from the shit-eating grin on my face, I am really happy and really excited to have been able to get the suit on without too much drama at all – and, as soon as I woke this morning the suit was on…I ended up being waylaid last night and didn’t end up putting it on. IT was close to midnight and I was tired.

Hi , firstly you look fab as usual in your new latex , i have found that my latex corsets do stretch slightly and become more and more comfortable ( they are already more comfy than regular corsets ) Next , after wearing any latex i wash it really well in warn soapy water , let it hang dry before coating the inside with talc , when done store away from direct sunlight and it should last you for many years of enjoyment ! Lastly , wearing other clothes hasn’t caused my latex any damage as i often wear it out under my normal clothes whilst doing daily town visits ! xxx
Hello and thank you for your input. I washed it in the shower and then put the lubey stuff inside it. I can’t use talc. I put it back in the plastic bag it came in and back into the black Fantastic Rubber bag the corset came in. I’m feeling really happy that I can wear this baby around under my street clothes. Seems to be a fabulous accompaniment to jeans, skirts…oh. Joy.
Re: your five questions

2. You could wear it for more than 24 hours, I think I’ve worn one of my FR suits for 40 hours, but past 24 hours I don’t feel fresh. When I’m indulging long time I take a shower each day and pull off the suit under the water flow (a wonderful feeling) and rinse it.
Then I let my skin breathe for about an hour before dressing up in another catsuit.
3. After carefully rinsing the suit i fill a bucket with just enough water to cover the catsuit and add less than half teaspoon of silicon oil to the water and splash around a bit with my hand to spread it before immersing the catsuit. Swish it arund and turn it inside out remaining under the water surface to ensure every square centimeter is treated.
Hang up to dry 5 to 60 minutes, depending on climate. Lightly buff with a soft towel if some drops remain and turn outside out again.It will be perfectly shiny on the outside and lubed on the inside for use next day.
4. Wearing tight jeans over latex will probably rub over your knees and bum when you are moving and will dull the surface so it will be difficult to maintain a mirrorlike shine at those spots. Be careful as long as you only have one suit.
5. For long time wear, ensure that the lube does not dry out so the suit sticks to your skin,
especially in the shoulder area. Most of my catsuits have torn at the edge of the arm seam over the shoulder, despite expert measurments, but possibly lacking lube.
I try remember to stick in a very small bottle of oil through the neck opening and inject a few drops of oil of my shoulders especially in the evening if I’m going to sleep in the suit.
Very well worn high quality cotton sheets that are really smooth so I can easily turn around in bed without getting stuck (see 4.) are my favourite.
Latex or PVC sheets only works for play when using plenty of lube, and it is too expensive and messy for almost daily use in my opinion.
Silicon oil in small bottles are ridiculously expensive. When buying 1 liter bottles prices are much nicer. Two examples

To get into the outfit easily you need talcum powder.
I used water based silicone gel. Bodyglide. It was recommended to me because I cannot use talcum powder at all.
Look up Rubberman on fet, Tassie based guy, he knows everything there is to know about latex and its care. He’s also a great guy.

I forgot to answer 1 question earlier , there is no length of time that you can wear latex for , i once spend just under 48 hrs held very snug indeed inside a latex sleep sack , only damage that it did to me was make me want to get forced back in ASAP !

Sitting here wearing latex leggings , a latex zip top , 26inch latex corset , finished off with 6inch heels and i’m a guy ! The one and only problem with latex is that you just don’t want to take it off , and i’m into hour 7 now ! x
