Dr Martens???

Commando Heels

not so high, but quite hot nevertheless

On my neverending search for interesting footwear, I came across these!

Definitely on my covet list.

They’re Dr Martens.  With heels. Well placed ones.  :-D

Not so high, but high enough not to be too low.  Priced like Dr Martens are, but there are nothing comparative on the market due to the air cushioned sole.  Yes. Even on their high heels.  They do make some goddam awful women’s shoes, but the heeled range is rather nice. Hoping they’ll add Mary Jane styles as well. There are lace up ankle boots, lace up shoe, and a short ankle boot with buckle detail in the line as well.  Colours are black or  oxblood.

Have fun!

Suzanne

  1. Ooh, I’ve seen these a year or so ago irl when someone at work was wearing them. They are absolutely rockin!!! The photo doesn’t do them justice. And they indeed were quite comfy, the wearer told me, as she never wore heels but walked quite ok-ish in these. Sigh :)

  2. Dear Mistress Suzanne,
i’d love to see you, with these wrapped around your shapely, nylon covered legs. Very dominatrix like. Makes me shake just thinking of it.

  3. Definitely swoony boots!!! That leather looks sooo smooth and shiny!

  4. I never understood why those companies with all that money (Laboutin, etc.) have never made heels with padding under the ball of the foot and a support under the arch to make heels more comfortable for the average woman. they could make so much more money
    that way.

    • Yes. That is so true. There are styles that can be worn with comfy inserts, however they are few and far between. The more I look at these things, the more I really find I do want them. :-D

  5. Just wow! They have so much in store that i like, and that will just fit me as well. I feel another shopping spree coming up soon :-)

  6. i wonder why they are only available via the american doc marten store? the customs fees are horrible when importing to europe, and doc martens is a european company…

    • Yes. I find that is annoying as well. To get them ordered and sent by a store here, they add $100 to the cost, so for me it is reasonable to get it sent from the US site. I guess like everything they have gone global. When I was buying my docs in the late 70′s we got them from friends who lived in England. There was a store in South Australia that would send them to us but they were also very expensive. I guess I’m used to paying $300 for a pair of docs – with the flat soles which I wore as a skinhead girl (non nazi variety thank you) – and even then they were $300. So now they are $250 to me it seems like an incredible bargain.

  7. hmm really nice post, i like it and also would like to share on fb

  8. I could live at floor level due to those boots!
