Hey there
Hope you are all well and have had a great start to your weekend!
As it happens I finished the pony toes a few days ago. I haven’t been able to locate a pair of horse irons for them, but I believe I will end up trying to go through Punitive and buy some from them.

As you know, I can’t HERALD A SUCCESS until they have had a test run. Sadly this pair is a size 37 and won’t fit my friend. I’ll either keep them, or sell them if anyone is interested. lol As you can see from the video above, they work perfectly.
So you wonder how they wear? Surprisingly very well. Since I was flying blind on this project the chance of success was at the start, 50%. As I progressed through the project the chances rose.
Today, after wearing them around for a couple of hours – they are perfectly intact. The pegs were raised slightly higher than the cut sole of the shoe. This was done to increase stability and not have the spongy toe platform collapse into the collars of wood.
Talk soon

Hmmm, I’d definitely be interested in buying them, just depends on how my budget is looking at the time.
Look great, you did a good job on those
Thanks Wayne. I am really happy with them too!
And the best thing is, as always, it’s garden variety hand tools and easily accessible materials I use to make these things, so I am sure anyone can try it if they like.
